I, like many, have an addiction to RSS feeds.  I am always checking out my RSS feeds so that I can feel like I am up-to-date on all the news and other things not as important.

This morning I was feeling a little bit unfulfilled and realized that it was because I was no longer receiving any RSS updates in Outlook!  Somehow my RSS list in Outlook 2007 was empty, even though my Common Feed List in IE 7 and Windows Live Desktop still had all of my feeds defined.  To fix this I thought that I would just disable and then re-enable Outlook's ability to sync with the Common Feed List.  I tried three times and that didn't work at all. ugh.

I was defeated and started to copy each of the RSS URLS from IE into the RSS list in Outlook.... I did one, then two and then I got to thinking about the time I imported the OPML file from my previous reader when I first started using Outlook 2007!

Ok so I figure out that I can export the OPML file from IE and then I went to Outlook and selected File and then Import and Export...  and what do I notice on the first page of the wizard?

I can import directly from the Common Feed List????  Well, it turns out that you can.  If you select Import RSS Feeds from the Common Feed List you will be able to select any of the feeds that are on not in Outllook but are in your RSS Common Feed List and add them to Outlook.
