Need help with authoritative restore--AuthOrig

Hello everyone
One of our programmers wrote a script to update information in
distribution
lists. In from ADUC , I select the DL, then go to exchange general. In
there
message restrictions (authOrig) attribute has been over written. I need
to
know the values that used to be there.

So I did a restore of a GC (ad auth restore of only the specific object)
and
attempted to look but can not find the original values. Does anyone know
how
I can get this information back?

Are you sure that you had restrictions on who could send to that DL?  If there aren't any restrictions there won't be anything in that attribute. 

 

You said that you tried an authoritative restore what steps did you use to do that?
