How do you want them to be connected together? Do you have two different AD domains or just two domain controllers?  Is there a specific reason you want to connect them?

You have two domains already set up in two cities.  Do you have Exchange installed at either location?  What type of connectivty do you have between the two sites?

If you already Exchange installed do you want all users to appear in the Global Address List?

If you already have Exchange installed at both locations in two seperate Active Directory Forests and you want all users to show up in both GALs you will need to use something like the Identity Integration Feature Pack to synchronize the contacts between the domains.

Ideally if you were able to start over you would install all the Exchange servers in the same forest and in the same Exchange organization.  This would eliminate the need of extra synchronization tools.
