I added a new distribution list from the Exchange Administrator screen and can't get it to show up on the contact list.  It is not hidden, but the associated email address does work properly when you send an email to it and it distributes the message appropriately.

The 2nd issue is I checked "hide user" but the user still show up on the global address list in Outlook, but not in OWA.  I have other issues with the free/busy schedule working in OWA and not Outlook and the same with out of office assistant.

 Thanks

Are you using cached mode in Outlook?

If so, by default, the Offline Address book is only generated once each day. It would be recommended to change the schedule to generate it more often (like once every hour during business hours), then you can force a download in Outlook of the latest OAB and then your DG and hidden mailbox changes should show up.

I beleive it is in cached mode, but I will check it in the morning.  Thanks

That was the case, I took it out of cached mode and it updated immediately.  Thanks
