Ok some know I'm going to be updating our Exchange 2000 server to Exchange 2007 but until then I noticed that it seems like that some things are trying to relay junk off my server.
Here is example of what I'm seeing... What is the best way to make sure that unwanted relaying is not being allowed??? Right now I have it to where it should only use the server IP to send mail but some how it looks like that is not cutting it..
Sorry this took so long, its been a crazy week. There are a number of reasons this can be. It could be that you have the allow any user that authenticates to relay and the sender was able to use guest or another valid user.
Has this been happening often? Can you turn on protocol logging and deteremine where this message was sent from?

Guest account is disable and not for sure on the protocol logging and on Relay Restrictions the "Allow all computers which successfully authentication to relay regardless of the list above. I have that checked so I guess I could unchecked that and in the list above I just have the server IP listed there is all.
Also make sure that you do not have relaying enabled on your outbound SMTP connector as well.
