draven, This appears to be a common issue but not a whole lot of answers. The standard rules apply, make sure to have Office 2007 SP1, plus the latest Outlook fixes installed. One of my favorite tools for Outlook is the intraVnews RSS reader. It allows you to download your favorite RSS feeds and drop them into Outlook.
